Draw on the knowledge and expertise of leaders from the settlement and health care sector by posing questions about scenarios you may encounter in your work.
We recognize that in learning about potentially sensitive topics - such as mental health problems and substance use - people bring different experiences, perspectives, attitudes and values to their learning. As part of our commitment to creating a safe and respectful learning environment, the community of practice discussion board is a password protected platform. Please note that the discussion board includes current course participants, course alumni, facilitators and service providers who have chosen to self-register for the discussion board via the IRMHP network. All discussion that takes place in this discussion board should be considered private and confidential by all participants. In other words, please do not circulate or discuss the experiences and comments of fellow participants with others who are not enrolled in the discussion board. This will maintain an environment where participants feel comfortable engaging with the materials and issues in the course.
