Module 5 décrit des problèmes de santé mentale et des maladies mentales avec lesquels doivent composer certains segments de la population d'immigrants et de réfugiés. Le module 5 porte sur les besoins uniques en matière de santé mentale de diverses populations d'immigrants et de réfugiés vulnérables comme les personnes âgées, les survivants de tortures, les personnes LGBTQ2S+ et les personnes handicapées. On y aborde les facteurs de risque et de protection, ainsi que les moyens de soutenir ces populations et de répondre à leurs besoins uniques en matière de santé mentale. Le module traite également des facteurs cliniques liés à ces besoins et des interventions possibles en santé mentale.
